No, I'm
not talking about Christmas (which ALSO happens to be "the most
wonderful time of the year) I'm talking about autumn and the arrival of
all things "fall." We returned to our most favorite pumpkin patch again
(a new tradition) and were able to bring daddy this year. (remember last year with Nana Lori?)
Wy can't help but be all smiles.
We were able to bring along a family friend, Issei, who is in town visiting my in-laws from Japan. He had never been to pumpkin patch so we darn well fixed that for him.

In addition to never having been to a pumpkin patch Issei had NEVER HAD APPLE PIE! I know, right!?! So here, people is a view of a young man's FIRST bite of apple pie, EVER!!!
(And yes, he liked it very much. Please note that we polished the whole thing off...)
Wy-wy was a fan of his first taste of apple pie as well.

And what's a trip to the pumpkin patch with out a hay ride?
Another year. Another tradition.
Life's good!

5 Little Notes:
i L.O.V.E. traditions. the pumpkin patch is one of ours too, although we usually don't buy a pumkin there. Lexie loves the pony rides and all the playing!!
What beautiful pictures! I wish that I could have gone with you, but I am so grateful that you took Issei. He will have wonderful memories, thanks to you!
i LOVE all the pics!!
LOVE IT!!! Pumpkin patches are magical. Steve & Mel are coming with us this weekend to Wheeler Farm, where they have a pumpkin patch and hayrides as well as cool farm-y stuff. It's such a wonderful place! I have visions of an all-day pumpkin extravaganza (including dinner and dancing in a barn decorated with lights) that ends with a hayride to a bonfire, with spooky stories and hot cider. Someday...
Wyatt is getting cuter and cuter every time I look at him!
