Christmas

This will be a quick one since I kind of forgot to get my camera out again after we first opened presents.

(Poor Pres is coughing in the first picture and has snot all over his sleeve in the second.  A Christmas cold was had by all the boys.)
Christmas day was wonderful. (don't take my lack of pictures to mean it wasn't so.)  Nate (barely) made it home to watch the kids open presents.

I think this one is my favorite.  They boys were so excited for dad to open the shirt they picked out for him. Such sweet boys.

The pictures end there (LAME!  I know.)  but our day was just beginning.  After we opened gifts at home we went to the in-laws where we exchanged gifts and enjoyed brunch.  It's so fun to watch (some of) the Taylor cousins growing-up and really enjoying each other.
(We missed you Karl, Megan, Camryn, Tamsin and baby Eliza.)

After brunch we came home so Wyatt could take a nap and mom could take a shower.  New clothes were put on by all and we packed ourselves right back to nana Linda's for a scrumptious dinner and hours of more fun.

I hope your day was as wonderful as ours!

I took a ton of pictures--and showed up in none of them! I even took a shower and put on some makeup so I would look nice. Hey...maybe I should have modeled some of my Christmas finery, eh? (Shudder.) I must say, since we've moved, our holidays have been a total suck fest--I wonder if our house just absorbs holiday cheer or something. Next year we're totally doing Christmas in CA!

We really enjoyed spending the day with you; it was fun having the morning together and then having "part two" in the afternoon. I know that my cousin Kristin especially enjoyed being around all of the kids. After all, that's what Christmas is all about!
