Gearing up

In order to feel a little more excited about my soon-to-be postpartum body (okay, it's not THAT soon) I made a few purchases.

I first heard about Shade clothing when we lived in Utah.  As a woman with an extra long torso and ridiculously short legs I found the brand to be heaven sent.  I hate bending over and showing off my butt crack.  No one wants to see that!  Unfortunately I haven't seen the brand here anywhere.

Then, a few days ago, I saw a link to their website and it did not disappoint.  All kinds of things were being clearanced and I'm happy to say I should be set on basics (in a slightly larger size) this summer.

Looks like you hit the jackpot!

I think it is funny how opposite our body types are; I have a short torso, extra long pelvic "box" and almost average length legs. So I have to buy petite size tops but average size bottoms. (I'm sure you wanted to know that.)

I have the opposite problem--long legs and a hobbit-sized upper body (minus the chesticle area, of course). It sucks. A short waist + big boobs = an alarming situation wherein it appears I am collapsing in on myself. NOT FLATTERING! Plus, we shall not mention the horror that is a nursing bra. There is no lifting or separating going on here!
