(The fam in San Jose)
While I had high hopes of being a better blogger this year January has been conspiring against me. We've had some really fun times (a trip to San Jose, a 32nd birthday, lots of family time) but we've also had a lot of rough days. Nate pointed out that we've only had one week of everyone being healthy this month.
Luckily Nate has had the whole month off and is proving himself to be Super Dad. Nate has been up almost every morning with the kids so I can sleep in. He has been putting the kids to bed every night. He's been working hard on rearranging rooms, taking doors down, plotting out our kitchen redo etc. You know, all of those things that a pregnant lady starts freaking out about in her last trimester.
So enjoy a small mishmash of pictures from our month.
The boys on Sebastian's couch (he let us crash at his pad); Dad and Pres at Denny's, Mom and Wy at Dennys in San Jose.
Highlights of San Jose:
- Meeting some of Nate's coworkers
- Seeing Nate's best friend, Sebastian
- Meeting up with Nate's cousin who lives in the bay area
- Taking a trip not too far from home

We celebrated Nate's 32nd birthday, TWICE. The day before his birthday a couple of his friends took him snowmobiling then came back to the house for lasagna and cake. It was so fun to get to know some of Nathan's friends (and coworkers) a little better. I'm so glad his friend Brandon brought his wife so we could meet her because I REALLY like her. New friends are ALWAYS a good idea.
And on his actual birthday we had some family over to celebrate. Soups, breads and a requested pineapple upside down cake made for a yummy dinner and amazing family made for great company.
And we had to get dressed up for a family function so I HAD to get a picture of all of my handsome boys. :)
And that's it. Apparently I have been, not only a bad blogger, but also a bad photographer. I know I have some fun ones on my phone so if I can figure out how to get them onto the computer I'll post some more another day.

Thanks for sharing your January via pictures. It is a shame that we have spent so little time together during Nathan's vacation. I hope that we will all be healthy enough to be together next week before he goes back to work!
I LOVE THAT PIC OF PRESTON!!! The one of him in his vest flashing a cocky "You lookin' at me?!" expression at the camera. I miss those boys! I wish we lived closer--my girls miss their cousins. Last night Tamsie was staring at the fridge pointing to your picture and naming everyone. I'm so glad you've put up more pics--I keep haunting your blog, hoping for news! And I can't tell in your pics that you're pregnant--you look so great and so thin!
Your boys are so darn gorgeous!!! And they have grown so much - it is such a delight to see them. : )
