One of the projects on our list to do during Nate's vacation (Poor guy! Not much of a vacation when your wife-y has a "honey-do" list.) was to change out the doors on our laundry area.
While we don't have a laundry room we do have a laundry closet of sorts. The problem was whatever dweeb installed the last set of doors obviously never tried to switch the laundry. They were sliding doors which meant you had to lean over behind the doors to switch the wash to the dryer.
It wasn't that bad until I got pregnant. Now it's nearly impossible for me, with my big belly, to get all of the wash out of the washer.
Cue: Super-Husband
(And his pint-sized helper.)
Tada!
Doors that open away from the middle.
(Don't mind the mess on the inside. That's another project in the works. Nate is replacing the particle board shelves with real wood, adding some supports in the middle so they don't sag and adding a third upper shelf for things we rarely need to access. I can't wait!)

I am so glad that Nathan was able to get many of the desired projects done before returning to work. And I am really glad that now he will be home every night!
That is so awesome! There is nothing like the boost you get from getting something to work better. For awhile, I'll bet laundry will actually be fun to do! Props to Nathan for his mad handyman skills.
